Because! It takes an awesome mind to come up with this. Turning the idea of a giant King Kong hand grabbing someone into this leather vest-armature-thing requires a lot of “leaps”, so to speak; It rejects the notion that clothes should always look like clothes, and never look like other things; it is a somewhat campy reference, too, which is audacious, but we can gather from the color palette that the designer has refused to take the easy route of making the clothes blatantly silly; and it’s menswear! Daring fashion on a man should always be applauded, because men are generally extremely closed-minded about clothing. I would very much like men to adjust to and experiment in the world of fashion and body adornment the way that the evidently braver opposing gender does.
